I just wanted to write to say a huge thank you for everything you have done to get me through my driving test.

I have wanted to take my test for many years and have had lessons before, but my confidence always got the better of me and driving would fizzle out as the test approached. This time I knew I had to rise to the challenge and that started with finding an instructor who would be sympathetic and understanding. As soon as we met I felt confident we could work together so I booked an intensive course and the test date, so there was no turning back.

With you help, gentle guidance and at times firm hand my confidence grew day by day and within 7 days I had taken my test and passed! This will make such a difference to me and my family, I can't thank you enough.

Laura I can't thank you enough for teaching me to drive. Your style and easy going nature has made the 30 hours sitting with you on the intensive course a pleasure. Yes, I've had my highs and lows, but you were patient and believed in me to get through the test which I did on my first attempt. Any pupil will do well to have you teaching them. I fully recommend Laura as a driving instructor! Having had a couple of not so good instructors in the past, I was worried this would be the case again. It was the complete opposite! Laura made me feel completely comfortable throughout my entire learning experience. I am quite a nervous driver, yet managed to gain enough confidence in myself to pass with the help of Laura. Second time’s a charm! Laura was my second instructor, I wasn’t too happy with the first! I found that Laura has a very relaxed and practical approach to instruction. I’m not one for sitting roadside and going over theory, I’m more hands on. Laura’s instruction was just what I wanted clear and to the point, it was very easy to pick things up and move along quickly as well. I did struggle with some aspects of learning to drive, which I think is normal. Although, with good practical tips and Laura’s motivation I quickly improved on those problem areas. I passed my test second time around, my first time I made some dreadful mistakes due to nerves. The second time Laura helped me with the issues I had on my test and I passed with one minor! I’m really pleased with my result and Laura was great! I would certainly recommend Laura, she is very easy to get along with and has a great sense of humour. I wish her all the best.

I have been learning to drive on and off for roughly 10 years with other schools. After four failed tests I was quite nervous before beginning the One Week Pass course, but all nerves flew out the window within minutes after beginning to drive with Laura.

I had failed the previous tests due to nerves and minor inconsistencies with my driving (junctions, roundabouts & meeting traffic) which had led to serious faults on my driving tests. Laura's skill, patience and friendliness as an instructor meant that not only did she help me to iron out those inconsistencies beautifully, but she taught me how to truly judge situations and deal with them calmly and smoothly. I am now driving my own car and did not feel anxious about driving on my own because of the confidence Laura gave me. And I had such fun on the One Week Pass course; it didn't feel like work at all! Laura taught me how to love driving and how to drive full stop! But trust me, Laura will judge your driving skills and abilities as you go, with exceptional value for money. I highly recommend Laura! I've just turned 17 and have been desperate to have a driving license ever since. She's a brilliant teacher, easy to get along with and very honest when it comes to being ready for your test. Laura made me feel relaxed and confident behind the wheel, I was always looking forward to my next lesson. No matter what your situation is she will always do her best to help and work around you. If Laura can teach me to pass my test first time in under 24 hours she can do anything, I've recommended her to all my family and friends and to anyone wanting a driving license. I owe her a big thank-you, She is the best!

I would definitely recommend driving with Laura. I hadn't been behind the wheel since failing a test 16 years ago. I was so nervous, but Laura was very friendly and brilliant at building my confidence. When I was panicking and thought I needed more lessons, Laura assured me I didn't. She is very honest as she could easily have just taken the money. I have now passed my test at the age of 40 and my children are thrilled that they don't have to walk to school in the rain anymore! If Laura can teach me to drive, she can teach anyone!

I cannot recommend Laura highly enough; she was a fantastic driving instructor, she gave me the confidence that I needed to drive. As I am not from Portsmouth I was more nervous on the unfamiliar roads, but Laura with her friendly and patient approach made me feel very relaxed and helped me progress well. Her teaching style is excellent and really is about the individual she is teaching. Being in a comfortable environment and with her great personality I always looked forwards to my next lesson, Laura helped me pass my driving test which has now allowed me to explore a lot more new places with my family. I PASSED - I have been learning to drive off and on since I was 17 years old (10 long years) , and my main issue was with my lack of confidence. I was recommended Laura by my sister who had recently passed her test with Laura. I never felt so confident and relaxed as I was with Laura. She taught me at my own pace and always managed to get me driving in areas I never thought i could do in a short space of time. My confidence went sky high after a couple of lessons which was a lot to do with Laura's approach to her students. Laura in my eyes is someone who changed my life and I'm so very, very grateful. After having lessons before a few years ago (but stopped due to me losing interest) I decided to start again and chose Laura to teach me. What a great choice! She is an excellent teacher and kept the lessons interesting so I didn’t lose interest and I looked forward to the next lesson. I originally picked the LDC 30 hour Semi-Intensive course, but after a few lessons Laura could see that I was progressing quickly and thought I wouldn’t need all 30 hours. In the end I only needed 24 hours and she gave me the money back for the hours I didn’t use. Not many instructors will do that! I would like to say a big thank you for helping me pass first time, and I would definitely recommend her to everyone I know.

Just a quick thank you for teaching me to drive and in helping me pass my test first time in just one week on the LDC One Week Pass course of 30 hours. I owe you so much because me and my small family's lives are now more open in order to be able to do things that we couldn’t before having a car. I think I was in shock for a couple of weeks after passing my test. I was really feeling that not having a driving licence was blocking a lot of the plans I wanted to make so I'm really thrilled to have passed my driving test at the age of 31. As her first student and first time pass I highly recommend Laura, lessons were never boring. She is a brilliant instructor and person.
